In the world of skateboarding, few names resonate as powerfully as Jamie Thomas. A legendary figure in the sport, Jamie is known for his relentless pursuit of the perfect line. This quest has extended into the realm of eyewear, collaborating with OTIS for the second consecutive year to create two distinctive frames that capture his unique style and raw personality.
A Year-Long Creative Journey
The collaboration has spanned over a year of meticulous design and attention to detail. The result is two entirely new frames, the Outsider Vintage and the Outsider X. These frames draw their inspiration from vintage eyewear, using contrasting acetate to create something truly unique.

“The first few collections we worked on together were a great starting point; I was able to familiarise myself with the line & stylise my favourite frames. Timeless Styles Serving as Inspiration
One of the key insights Jamie Thomas brings to this collaboration is the idea of creating timeless styles. "I think the key to creating timeless styles is to look to eras in the distant past that have stood the test of time rather than to our competitors. Once we determined the direction, we got to get into the details to really set the product apart. The balance of timeless inspiration & modern styling was the goal & I feel like we accomplished that."

To complement the release, there is also an ultra limited edition skateboard from OTIS and Jamie’s brand Zero. The decks feature collaboration logos and are all hand painted/signed by Thomas.
