SUMMER OF 67 X

I used to wear OTIS sunglasses religiously. Then, somewhere along the line—probably chasing a quick bargain or caught up in the hype of something “new”—I switched to cheaper shades. Didn’t think too much of it at the time.

But slipping on a new pair of OTIS recently was like flipping the switch back to HD. The difference in lens clarity is wild. You don’t realise how much you’ve been putting up with until you experience the real thing again—especially when it comes to glare. Living in Perth, we’re basically surrounded by water and reflective surfaces 24/7, so decent polarisation isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. OTIS glass lenses cut through the harshest reflections like nothing else I’ve tried. As the current manager of the Fremantle Surf Club IRB Team I spend days on the beach staring across the water. Nothing allows me to keep an eye on the action better than my new OTIS sunnies.

And the frames? Solid. Balanced. Built to last, not bend in a week. There’s a weight to them that feels premium without being heavy. It’s like rediscovering how sunglasses are supposed to feel.

Honestly, lesson learned. It’s OTIS from here on out.

Always been a follower of big brand like ray bans and have had 5-6 pairs over my life but I always found myself cleaning them every time and never fit perfectly, I bought the summer of 67x for the lifetime warranty and I have to say, I’m never going back to another pair of Sunnies. I don’t leave the house without them, they’re so comfortable and the mineral glass doesn’t scratch whatsoever nor does it need cleaning as often. a MUST BUY for anyone that wants quality glasses!
